A classic central Bristol wood-floored hostelry, The Bell boasts a supremely eclectic clientele, situated as it is in that most vibrant, contemporary, cosmopolitan community known as Stokes Croft. The recent refurbishment has been subtly amazing – a range of local art now adorns the walls, and the toilet graffiti art has to be seen to be believed!

The Bell is a buslting city centre pub, but are hidden away just off the main strip. Stokes Croft has developed into a self-named Cultural Quarter that supports street art and all things made locally. Consequently, a lot of our customers are artist/street artist, and musicians, (there are a number of music studios nearby). We also have a fair number of students as well as local residents.

We have an outside area in the form of a patio, with electric garden heaters and covered areas where you can hide away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Live DJs play most nights ranging from hip-hop, dubstep, reggae, drum & bass to 80s funk making The Bell a popular venue for those of you who like live, contemporary fresh music. Why not pop in and sample it for yourself?
